As this, the second in the series of achievements show, CT Sailbattens are being used by yachts at the top of their game, yachts that face the toughest challenges in the sport of sailing often in the harshest conditions the sea can provide.

Since her launch in 2007 ICAP Leopard has been competing for line honours in some of the world's greatest yacht races. Her most recent success was in the Inaugural RORC Caribbean 600, February 2009 where she set the monohull elapsed time for future yachts to beat. This race win represents ICAP Leopard's 12th record since her launch, an amazing achievement to date.

Leopard sails with a full compliment of carbon fibre mainsail battens (full length and intermediates) and batten hardware from CT Sailbattens.

The winner of the Sydney Hobart 2008 - 09 was Wild Oats XI, sailed by Mark Richards. This iconic Australian yacht race attracts huge media coverage every year and this year saw no less than 92 yachts finish. To win this great race is to be placed in Australian and International yachting History.

The Maxi World's are an eagerly anticipated annual event, attracting a large fleet of incredible yachts to Porto Cervo, Sardinia, every September. The 2008 event was no exception with a large fleet in both the racing and cruising classes. George David's Rambler (USA) secured victory in the racing division and in the cruising division the J Class Ranger cruised somewhat effortlessly to their second Maxi Yacht victory.

CT Sailbattens are suppliers to both winners in the Racing and Cruising division, Rambler and Ranger.

As the racing circuit unfolds in 2009 CT Sailbattens continue to be proud to be associated with the top achievers in the Sport of Sailing.
