Brits win Cadet European Championship

'Boat Park Club de Mar-Almerica - Cadet European Championship 2009'

The Cadet European Championship was sailed in Spain from the Club de Mar-Almerica, from the 18th to 24th July.

The first three days racing was abandoned, and the competition compressed into two days.

After six races, the British pair Christopher Brewer and Ole Alcock (GBR 8997) won the title from Sophie Dingwall/Cristopher Sycamor (GBR 5000). Tom Alleman and Danis Tanguy (BEL 9739) were third.

The Australian team of Sophie and Jessica Chesterman (AUS9424) finished in 47th place.
