Bostik will enter her name on the historical course linking the Port of Cherbourg to the Port of New York City.
Alexia Barrier (FRA) will be at the helm of Bostik, while Charles Caudrelier, who has to stay in France for personal reasons, will do the routing for the Veolia Oceans? one-design. The Canadian sailor Phil Paxton will assist Alexia Barrier and Yann Clavier, Bostik's boat captain, will complete the crew.
The three of them will open the course of a transatlantic race specially created for the Veolia Oceans? one-design class that will be raced every year from Summer 2009. This crossing of the Northern Atlantic Ocean will nearly follow the recent Artemis Transat course with an 'ice gate' below Newfoundland.
Bostik progression will be updated every four hours on the map on the right hand side of the website - www.soloceans.com/en/
