'Start of the passage race from Hobart to Bligh Point for the Barnes Bay Regatta at Bruny Island'

Hobart's yachting season for 2010-2011 wound up, and most of its participants wound down, last Saturday in the annual Barnes Bay Regatta at Bruny Island. The Regatta attracted 65 yachts from most Hobart clubs and from down the Huon for a passage race from Castray Esplanade to Bligh Point for three divisions, followed by a regatta race on Barnes Bay for Division 1 and 2. Ashore, with the boats moored in the sheltered corner of Barnes Day, the crews went ashore for the end-of-season party, a total of 350 people entertained, fed and watered by their hosts, the Kingborough Boating
