Dean Barker has gone two up against Ben Ainslie in the Final of the New Zealand Match Racing Championships. In the semi-finals, Ainslie beat Rod Davis, and Barker beat Laurie Jury.

The four finalists have been found - Barker, Ainslie, Davis & Jury.

Barker (1st place after two round-robins) will sail against Jury (4th).

Davis (2nd) will sail off against Ainslie (3rd).

The semi finals have just finished:

Ainslie beat Davis, 2.5 points - 1.5 points

Barker beat Jury, 2 points - 1 point.

Barker to face Ainslie in the Finals (best of 5 races).

Davis to jury in the Petite Final (best of 3 races.)

Petite Final (to date):

Jury beat Davis 2 - 0 therefore Jury finishes in 3rd place overall, Davis 4th.

Main Final:

Barker leads Ainslie 2 - 0
