BIA Victoria re-elects leadership team

'Gordon Howlett has been re-elected as President, BIA VIC.' .

The Boating Industry Association of Victoria (BIA) has re-elected its leadership team of President Gordon Howlett and Vice-President David Heyes.

Both were re-elected unopposed at the December meeting of the Association's Board.

This is Gordon Howlett's third term as President, having been first elected to the Board in 2005 and to the Presidency the following year.

David Heyes is entering his 14th year on the Board, and his seventh as Vice-President, having served with three separate Presidents over those years.

Under BIA Victoria's new strategic plan, the previous four Board committees have been replaced with a single Events Committee, while finance, membership and education functions are performed by management teams reporting directly to the Board.
