Aussie sailors excel in heavy winds at Laser European Championship

Australian sailors have had a great day of racing at the Laser European Championship in Estonia with Tom Slingsby taking the overall regatta lead while Ryan Palk and Ashley Brunning made major jumps up the leader board. Slingsby started the day in second overall, three points off the overnight leader Rutger Schaardenburg of the Netherlands, and excelled in the heavier breeze to finish the day with a third and a first to open up a six point lead over Austria's Andreas Geritzer.
