The Association Cup was run on Port Phillip, on the 19th March, in frustratingly light conditions. Crews drifted until Race 1 was started at about 2pm (11am scheduled start!), but this race was abandoned when it became clear that the fleet had no way of finishing. A second start was accomplished at 3pm, and a result was achieved. As the time limit for a second start had lapsed, the result was decided on the one race. (3 were scheduled).This years event had been brought forward one month to try and get better conditions that were usually experienced in April, but ...
