Archipelago Raid - Teams arrive at Lidingo, Sweden

The first teams have arrived to Sweden from Scandinavia and the rest of Europe to prepare for the start on Monday 17th of August for the 9th edition of the Archipelago Raid.

The teams will be based at the At Sea conference center at Liding?, Stockholm for the start. Swedish summer weather greets the sailors with sun and rain in varied doses. It's a friendly and sportive atmosphere among the sailors, a good mix of amateurs and professionals. Last year's winners Eric Proust and Romain Motteau just arrived. 'We would really like to win this year again - that would be really good', Proust says. Him and Motteau, Team Citus, flew from La Rochelle in France and Yvan Bourgnon, also competing this year, helped them out bringing their boat by car from France to Sweden.
