A dry ship in Qingdao

The 'athlete's village' at the Olympic Sailing Centre is actually a hotel, and when this event is over it will magically turn into an Intercontinental. Yesterday's enforced 'day off' gave the press pack a chance to check out the hotel and the souvenir shop. Hey, it's not too shabby in there!

There's some pretty funky d?cor, wi-fi internet throughout, and tv in all the rooms. But the media mavens found one problem that disqualifies it as any sort of journo's hangout - there's no grog in the bar.
