From January 6-14 2011, the Lane Cove 12ft Sailing Skiff Club is proud to be hosting the 51st running of the 12 ft Skiff Interdominion Championships. 12ft Skiffs from New Zealand and Australia will be taking part in this long standing traditional rivalry between the two countries top Skiff Sailors. The race headquarters will be the Hunters Hill Sailing Club, Merrington Place, Woolwich. Lane Cove Club has been racing 12ft Skiffs for almost a century, the first season was in 1917 when 12's looked like the one in the picture, bigger, heavier, and lots more sail area than the modern ...
