Ear plugs may well be needed for Victorian residents in October and November as huge horsepower does battle with the inaugural UIM World Unlimited championships scheduled for October 15-17 and the Grand Prix Hydroplanes following up one month later. The Hungry Jacks UIM Unlimited championships will be staged on the Murray River at Gol Gol, on the NSW-Victorian border, near Mildura. November 25 to 28 sees the UIM World GP Hydroplane championships on Lake Mulwala, Yarrawonga, also in Murray River country and adjacent to the NSW-Victorian border, but well to the east of Gol Gol.
