For Queensland, Gold Coast-based driver Troy Marland it just doesn't get any better. Fresh from being crowned UIM Unlimited Displacement World Champion, Marland has 'cruised' to a convincing victory in the Wide Bay Australia Bundy Thunder and was pronounced 'King of the River'. Marland, at the wheel of 'Haier Madness' was unstoppable and blew his rivals away at Sandy Hook, on the Burnett River. In winning the shootout on the river against the seven fastest cell boats entered, Marland and 'Haier Madness' shattered the previous race record set by Damien McKenzie with a runaway win.
