Redcliffe, once a sleepy fishing village, but now a thriving suburb of the Queensland capital, Brisbane, situated on the shores of Moreton Bay, plays host this weekend (September 18-19) to the fourth round of the Offshore Superboat Championships. A strong field across Class 1, Supercat Lite, Supercat Outboard and Supercat Outboard Lite is expected to result in some highly competitive racing as the crews jockey for position prior to heading to Victoria for rounds five and six and the eventual championship. Although multiple world champion throttleman Steve Curtis and Sheikh Hassan bin Jabor Al-Thani are listed on the leader board ...
