NSW Maritime will launch Operation Lights On this weekend to ensure boaters are aware of the need to display correct navigation lights for safety when operating at night. NSW Maritime Chief Executive Steve Dunn said the statewide boating safety campaign is aimed at reminding skippers about the responsibility to display appropriate navigation lights at night. 'Twilight is one of the most difficult times to navigate a vessel as your eyes are constantly changing to adapt to the growing darkness,' Mr Dunn said.
