Giampaolo Montavoci has confirmed he will run an unchanged line-up in Foresti & Suardi-Roscioli Hotels with fellow Italian, Roberto Lo Piano, taking the wheel for only his second Grand Prix.
Currently fifth in the overall Championship standings, Montavoci, who made his Class 1 debut in St Petersburg in 1989, will make his 90th race start in Abu Dhabi (19-21 November) and will be looking to maintain his run of reliability and finishing in the points in every race in a season, a feat that extends back to 2007, and to defend the position as leading Italian Team and Pilot.
'We will have stronger engines in Abu Dhabi so this should help us,' he said. 'But the most important thing for us is to be reliable and to finish in the points in both races and to stay fifth in the Championship.'
