Monsoon Winds slows Earthrace on Day 46
Day 46 report from New Zealand skipper Pete Bethune from the 78 foot biodiesel powered Earthrace as she crosses the Indian Ocean from Singapore heading for Cochin on the western flank of the subcontinent.

The Earthrace crew has had two tough days as she thumps into a heading sea. The last 24 hours, she has travelled just 315 nautical miles however she has now travelled a total of 17,657 miles and is 2,380 miles ahead of the Cable & Wireless 1998 world record of 74 days, 23 hours and 53 minutes.
