More than 400 invited guests enjoyed a gala evening at Maritimo's Coomera facility on the eve of the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show.

The spectacular black tie event was the occasion of the first unveiling of the company's all-new Cabriolet 60 Sport Yacht and the 500 Offshore Convertible.

The guest list included key Maritimo staff, Maritimo owners and 'hot prospects', representatives of major suppliers and boating media identities.

'Rocker' Daryl Braithwaite and his band kept things humming and kept plenty of guests active on the dance floor.

Although the Maritimo 500 Offshore was on display for all to see, the arrival of the Cabriolet 60 Sport Yacht was a gala event in itself.

The stylish vessel was towed in under a blaze of spotlights and guests immediately formed lengthy queues to go aboard and inspect Bill Barry-Cotter's latest creation.

Following the evening, both boats were hurriedly 'shipped out' destined for Sanctuary Cove, fortunately only a couple of kilometres distant.

Guests at the Maritimo function were not backward in coming forward to be among the first to see the all-new Maritimo Cabriolet 60 Sport Yacht. - Maritimo’s Sanctuary Cove preview - . . Click Here to view large photo
