The Lancashire Powerboat Racer from St Helens has had a phenomenal year not only has he turned 54 and became a grandfather but he also secured his third RYA National Championship title. At the beginning of the season Bill had decided to only compete in local club races this year thinking that his thirteen year old rig was no longer a match for the newer, more competitive outfits at this level of competition.
