Honda Australia has teamed up with Queensland's number one fishing identity, Dave 'Nugget' Downie, to put together his latest project boat.
Unveiled recently at Brisbane's Northside Marine, the attention-grabbing Honda BF150-powered fibreglass vessel will get Queenslanders talking as the features and benefits of the customised rig are discussed each weekend on Nugget's top-rating 4BC radio program, 'Talking Fishing'.

Nugget said he couldn't wait to get his new boat on the water and put it through its paces.
"The hull is actually 16 years old, but we totally gutted and reinforced it then added custom storage areas like live bait tanks, kill tanks and other functional features," Nugget said.
"Set-up with everything I need for my fishing interests, the powerful and reliable Honda BF150 was the only outboard choice, as far as I was concerned - nothing else came close."
Based on the same engine that powers the globally-popular Honda Accord, the BF150 incorporates a unique set of Honda-exclusive technologies to provide increased power across the entire rev range, with a power-to-weight ratio that rivals two-stroke engines in the same class.
The BF150 also features Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control (VTECT), which was originally developed for Honda's high-performance sportscars. The system ensures smooth, stable idling with an even further reduction in fuel consumption, while the increased valve lift at high revs broadens the torque curve and provides incredible top-end power.
Along with this class-leading power, Honda's inherently low fuel consumption, exceptional reliability and reduced periodical maintenance requirements all combine to minimise the overall cost of ownership.
