Cowes Torquay Cowes - Red FPT of Fabio Buzzi has taken victory in the 50th anniversary , completing a dominant double victory at the British Powerboat Festival. The win sees Red FPT awarded two highly coveted pieces of silverware, the Beaverbrook and Harmsworth trophies. Powered by the 2,400 horsepower of four FPT engines, Buzzi - alongside fellow Italian Emilio Riganti and Englishman Simon Powell - fought off the early challengers, Asia, Hot Lemon and Kerakoll, to record a remarkable fourth Cowes Torquay Cowes title and further cement his already legendary status in powerboat racing. 30 boats started and the early ...
