Coastguard Boating Education hosted a series of regional forums; starting in Christchurch in late August, followed by Taupo and ending in Aucklad at the beginning of September. With over 110 tutors attending, it was an opportunity to up skill and learn about the latest programme developments within the organisation. One of the highlights was the presentation of awards in recognition of an individual's contribution to the safety of the boating public of New Zealand.
