Class 1 World Powerboat Championship Chris Parsonage Racing based in Plymouth, has confirmed its line-up for 2011, which has Giorgio Manuzzi teaming-up with P?l Virik Nilsen. The news of the Italian-Norwegian pairing marks a welcome return to the UIM Class One World Powerboat Championship for throttleman Nilsen, whose last race was in Dubai in 2009, and now sees him partner his former teammate at Maritimo Racing. The duo will race a Victory built, Michael Peters-designed hull powered by twin Lamborghini 8.2litre V12s.
