As crude oil reaches its biggest gain ever, more and more boat owners are turning to Dockside to save money.

Dockside Buyers Group says it is a breath of fresh air for boat owners, with the rising economy and soaring fuel prices boaties are looking at ways to save money on the water.

DBG operates out of Pittwater and Sydney. They use their mass of members to negotiate deals with marine businesses, such as Discounted Fuel.

DBG said its members are currently receiving 18c off a litre on diesel in Pittwater, members also have access to other great deals on slip/antifouling, detailing, mechanical, electrical, shipwright services, insurance etc.

There is an annual fee of $200 to join and members are issued with a membership card, suppliers booklet and monthly newsletters.
