Second place in the last race of the 2010 Rayglass New Zealand Offshore Powerboat Championship was enough to secure both the Superboat Class and overall New Zealand Title for 'Doosan' and her crew of Sam Filmore and Cary Gleeson. 'Fairview Windows and Doors' lead from start to finish and were unchallenged for the race win, but 'Doosan' had their eyes firmly on the championship and paced themselves to ensure a solid finish that would take them to the title ahead of the Australian Champion boat 'Team 3'.
