| MORE than 30 power boats from Port Phillip, Corio Bay and Western Port converged on the new Queenscliff Harbour Marina for the annual Boating Victoria Easter cruise, which was held over the Easter weekend.
The event kicked off ashore with the Queenscliff Seafood Feast on Good Friday. Australia's biggest seafood festival was a spectacular event held at Queenscliff's Princes Park just a short stroll from the marina.
It was estimated up to 6.5 tonnes of fresh seafood and specialty dishes and 2,700 litres of regional beverages, including wine and beer, were served on the day.
Spectators enjoyed live entertainment from world class performers, while special activities were held for the children. Channel 7 televised live from the feast which attracts thousands of visitors each year with all proceeds going to the Royal Children's Hospital Good Friday Appeal.

The Blues Train is one of the Geelong region's most spectacular dining and entertainment experiences. Passengers enjoyed both the scenery and the entertainment over a beer or wine and a good laugh.
Boating Victoria's Kevin Ezard said the weekend was capped off by sunny weather with temperatures in the mid to high twenties.
``The cameraderie was flowing freely over the whole long weekend,'' Mr Ezard said.
``If we weren't enjoying the local food or entertainment, we could be found on the marina chatting or on someone's boat.
``Overall a great success at a wonderful location with great marina facilities, and plenty of shopping or eating and drinking at local hotels and restaurants just a short walk away.''
