Auswind – One of Australia’s largest distributors of high quality watersports products requires someone to help us promote Kitesurfing, and Stand Up Paddling.
 
We require a motivated team member to assist with:
Delivering exceptional service to wholesale customers. Organisation and processing of customer orders including invoicing, packing and shipping.Marketing and promoting our excellent sports and brandsAll facets of stock management.Involvement in short and long term planning.Product demonstrations and displays.

The main attributes you will need to be successful in the role is:
A love of kitesurfing – We are looking for a keen kitesurfer with a good technical knowledge of all kitesurfing equipment.

Knowledge of Stand Up Paddling would be highly advantageous also.

A good level of fitness – we are very busy in summer and also spend a lot of time on the water! We are all riding (and often testing and feeding back on) the latest gear.

Enjoy interacting with people face to face and over the phone- Auswind operates a high service, relationship building approach to our watersports customers at both a retail and wholesale level.

The motivation to go the extra mile for our customers

Ability to work closely as part of a team and to be able to operate autonomously when required.

Although not essential, the following criteria will help you to flourish in this role (if you don’t have experience in all the criteria but want to work in the Industry, please don’t hold back from applying as we can train or tailor the position to suit the right person):

Sales Experience (either at wholesale or retail level)
Sound Computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, MYOB), Graphic design or Web experience would be highly regarded.
Highly developed organisational and administration skills.
Stock management experience
