Whale carcass spells trouble at premium Perth Wave spot
A whale died at sea in Perth ocean waters.
Fisheries department and others found it, including this character who thought it a good idea to jump on. Check these images of a guy riding on the dead whale: Stench must have been massive.

Nek minute .. it washes up at Scarborough beach - not just anywhere, but plumb in front of the ampitheatre - at least you can have a good viewing platform, but you would want the breeze to be offshore!
Matty Holder from Reflex Films ducked down this morning, and shot this great video:
Darren from ActionSportsWA reports "On the radio this morning they said they under-estimated the size and weight of it. 17m and around 30 tonnes. The diggers were inadequate.
The plan is to chop it up and take it to land fill.
Scarbs is already stuffed as Ray has said as the oil and fluid leaching into the sand will be there for weeks. Reckon Brighton and Scabs will be sharkey for alt least a month.
When a whale died on the reef up north where I stayed and was picked clean by the sharks and fishies, we were still getting big Tigers swimming upcurrent looking for it, long after the bones had fallen apart and the slick had ended.
That Sux for Scarbs and Brighton water goers."
It'll be brave souls that venture into these waters for a while, as it's the ultimate shark burly.
A real shame for users of this beach over the next month or so.
