Update for the Vanuatu Kitesurfing challenge...
Some may remember an article in KBM August 2007 where KBM and a group of young riders were invited to Vanuatu for the country's first kite surfing event and media expose. There were a couple of local riders, a fella off a passing yacht and an international level rider from New Caledonia who Andy Yates battled with to take first place.talk about the full mix with yours truly taking the wooden spoon. There were a few days of glassy surfing to start, followed by a carnival atmosphere comp and a number of days cruising around Efate Island exploring kiting locations, staying in villages, etc.
WELL IT'S ON AGAIN !!!!

- Draw prize for all attendees to be in - a return flight and a week's accommodation.
Last year Oz riders who joined in included Andy Yates, Keahi DiAboitz, Josh Kiely, Shaun Craig, and Lewis Back with Bill shooting for KBM and doing a lousy job of keeping them under control when it came to night time activities. Have a chat with any of those lads as to what Vanuatu is like.
Please email John Abraham with any queries or to register as a participant (and hopefully be in the top 20 who will score free accommodation and unlimited baggage allowance with Air Vanuatu). Participants will be considered officially registered when they email me a confirmed flight itinerary from a travel agent.
If you want to hear from one of the boys what it was like last time, contact Bill, Andy, Keahi, Happy, Josh or Lewis.
Get on to your travel agent. Vanuatu is only 2.5 hours flight from Brisbane, 3 hours from Sydney and 4 hours from NZ.
