In the biggest kiteboarding effort ever to go down off the QLD coast, a group of fearless kiteboarders is kiting to Papua New Guinea to raise money and awareness of breast cancer. 

We've been promoting the event over the last few weeks, but finally the day is here!

After being delayed a day while they waited for the support boats to battle their way through the wind and seas, the crew is set to leave at 3am this morning, so by the time you're reading this they'll be dodging crocs, sharks and all manner of bitey things in the Torress Strait. 

Already the total is over $60,000, but the goal is $100,000 so there's still a ways to go yet! It's not every day you get to be a part of such an incredible charity event, so get behind the guys and donate to the cause here.
