The most popular trick in kitesurfing, and how to do it

Keahi De Aboitiz bustin' out a 360
Reo Stephens from Cabrinha has given us a pro tip on how to complete one of the most popular tricks in kiting right now, the strapless 360.

Originally made famous by Keahi De Aboitiz and a couple of other guys a few years ago, the latest strapless craze has now waned, and riders everywhere are starting to try new tricks on a surfboard. This form of strapless freestyle draws it's roots from wakeskating and freestyle windsurfing, where little pops and rotations make up the basis of all moves. There's some really crazy variations of this 360 being thrown down all over the world now, like Keahi's new favourite where he manages to kick the board around in a 360 underneath his front foot, similar to a '360 shuvit' on a skateboard.

This 'no grab' front roll is a little easier than that, but it's still not a walk in the park. 'Practice is the key' says Reo, and it's not uncommon to land one in every 50 attempts while you're learning. If you don't believe him, check out his facial expression in the clips, he looks like he's concentrating pretty hard!

Check out the trick tip below, and next time you're out there on a surfboard you should give it a try!
