Last years kiteboarding nationals up in Alva beach provided the perfect ground for riders to strut their stuff - and of course to stuff up their strut... 

The organisers of last years competition (In the loop kiteboarding) have just released their DVD Religion for free in HD via Vimeo, and one of the extras hidden away in there was this crash footage, titled 'Eating It'. Whether that refers to the actual crashes, or the footage of some guy with a cane toad in his mouth is unknown, but it's great for a laugh none-the-less. 

Look out for our regular forum faces who appear in there, in fact there's many from the Seabreeze.com.au community who feature in some well executed upside down landings. There's also several other famous faces in there like Keahi De Aboitiz and Ewan Jaspan - the two favourites for this years competition. 

The dates for the 2012 nationals have just been released; they take place on the 7th-11th June 2012. Once again the exceptional event management skills of In the Loop kiteboarding will be seeing the event run smoothly in the new location of Pallarenda beach, Townsville. Much the same as last year, the event will coincide with a music festival to keep things entertaining well into the evenings.
