Save the date everyone! Like every year, the Merimbula classic is on again in (you guessed it!) Merimbula, NSW.

Its the biggest kitesurfing event on the east coast and frequently gets visited by professional riders like Ben Wilson (who grew up there), Patrick Rebstock (who was there last year) as well as all those famous people you know from seabreeze.com.au.

Famous for not only the riding, the conditions and the prizes - the Merimbula parties are one not to miss. The pub goes off almost every night until the wee hours of the morning, and with most accommodation only a 10min walk away, there's no need for designated drivers. Some say the pub performance counts for 99% of the competition result, but te judges reckon the best man always wins, and if happens to buy all their drinks over the duration of the trip then good for him.

We do know for certain that this event is one that every kite surfer, stand up paddler and windsurfer must go to at least once in their life. So make this the year! Check out their facebook page for more updates and information as the event draws closer.
