Red Bull King of the Air is back! Kiteboarding competition

It's back, and it's going to be epic!
It's been gone for 7 years, and kiteboarders around the world have missed the style of riding so much, that this year it's been brought back! But this time, it's in Capetown.

What could be better for the sport, than 40 knot winds, perfectly aligned kickers rolling in and the backdrop of Table Mountain. The latest iteration of Red Bull's King of the Air has been moved from Maui to South Africa for a reason. Big name riders like Ruben Lenten already flock to Big Bay when the wind is on, because the conditions are so perfect for huge airs, kiteloops and even board offs. You can be sure that he'll be invited back for the event, but with only 16 spots open for invited guests, and a few wildcards, he's going to be up against some pretty fierce competition!

Entries are open now, so if you think you've got what it takes to send it and boost with the best, then submit your video's and good luck!

We'll bring you all the videos and reports from the event when it's happening in February. Oh, and the crashes. There WILL be crashes, and they'll be awesome.
