Office job available at AKSA

AKSA (Australian Kitesurfing Association) are looking for a personal assistant to the board.

Anyone looking for some part-time, kite related officework may like to check the advertisement appearing on the AKSA website. Thanks to all state KSA's (ie AKSA) kiters all round Australia are to be offered an entirely new central data base membership system for 2010/11. You will be hearing more on this everywhere shortly but for now they are looking for an admin assistant to manage the memebership registry.

Membership Management Contract Role

The Australian Kite Surfing Association Incorporated (AKSA) is the peak sporting body for kite surfing on Australia, with 1800 members from each state association in 2009-10. AKSA offers public liability insurance and
sanctions national championships, as well as promoting safe kiting and working with local government to maintain access to beaches. AKSA is managed by a board made up of one representative from each of the state
associations.

AKSA has a web based membership management system, with the majority of members renewing online, and requires a contractor to manage the daily operations of the membership renewals. This includes inputting
memberships from paper applications, and reconciling payments to membership applications. Preparation and dispatch of membership welcome packs, including membership cards and tags is also required. The
membership applications need to be processed weekly to ensure that members are registered for major events early in the season, and the majority of members renew between October and January. The remuneration
is based on the number of membership applications processed. There is the opportunity for further project work, which will be paid on an hourly rate. All consumables and postage costs will be paid by AKSA, and
monthly ABN invoices will be required.
