It's not everyday that we get to see a whole clip dedicated to a chick kitesurfing in the waves, in fact the girls aren't really represented too well in kitesurfing at the moment. Maybe it's all about to change with this video from Naish? 

Jalou Langeree used to be a freestyler from Holland, but like so many other kiteboarders she's turned her attention to the waves recently, and according to her - it's the best move she's ever made. Everyone has their own opinion on why they make the switch from one discipline to another, but Jalou's reason was that she enjoyed the new challenge of learning to ride waves. "It's like learning to kite surf all over again" she says in the video. That challenge seems to appeal to a lot of people, and is usually followed some time after with the switch to strapless riding. 

Naish recently stuck her on a plane and shipped her over to Indonesia to get some footage of their Global surfboard, and to fuel her new found passion for wave riding. Along the way she also caught some decent fish, almost dipped her head into a few barrels and got her fair share of snappy turns in on some well sized wave faces. 

The location looks great, and although they didn't share the exact location, it can't be hard to find as the same locations have also been featured in recent videos from Slingshot and BWS. The classic left hander offers great conditions for kitesurfing, with cross-shore winds and consistent overhead waves to ride. No wonder Indo seems to be the 'go-to' destination for a kiting trip these days.
