NUKARA blues music festival near Coronation beach

Tickets are selling like ACDC
tickets for the next Nukara Music
Festival in the beautiful confines of the (not so secret anymore) bush
setting of Nukara Farm which is a scenic 26km drive north
east of Geraldton in WA in the Chapman
Valley!
Saturday 20th March is the date set for the 5th Nukara Music
Festival from 5pm to 12.30am!
The final
line-up working from the top is WA's
energetic blues/roots band Blue Shaddy,
Melbourne's Celtic rockers The Go Set,
WA's Slide Guitar virtuoso Andrew Winton,
the gypsy/folk/blues of Nice Verdes
from Canada, Geraldton's one man band Michael
May, the soothing acoustic/folk/pop of Perth's Freya Hanly (solo), Kalbarri's acoustic guitar duo Mic Payne & Mick McIntyre, plus the
Gypsy Soul Circus will be roaming
the festival and lighting up the night!
Previous years have seen Bob Evans, the Dave Mann
Collective, The Re-Mains, Rob Sawyer and many other great acts
grace Nukara's natural River Red Gum treed amphitheatre, with a spring fed creek
meandering through and under the stage!
Tickets are $55 each for early birders, which will then rise
to $65 from the 14th March if not sold out. They can be purchased at
the Geraldton CD Centre at 88 Marine Tce Geraldton. And for those folk that
live elsewhere can book with credit card by calling (08)99214821, and your
tickets can be picked up from the gate!
Stay the Night & Roll your Swag.
Not Your Car!!
Camping is traditionally encouraged again on the newly
established grassed areas at Nukara Farm, and that is $10 per person, payable
upon entry (gates open 4pm)
and includes shower facilities too!
Its BYO beverages, esky's, snacks/picnics, low chairs and
rugs. Plus scrumptious home made food is available to purchase for dinner. And
this year a $10 breakfast will be available the following morning!
Be warned though, as Nukara Farm has become a very
popular function venue and music festival now, it could be an early sell-out!
