Messing around with a kite surfboard, the KSP One Eye Pro

Strapless shenanigans at the KSP One Eye Pro
What do you do when there's a 3 day flat spell at the KSP One Eye Pro? You go kiteboarding! Airton Cozzolino, Matchu Lopez Almeida, Keahi de Aboitiz and Luke McGillewie don't need waves to rock a surfboard in style, so here they are inside the main break at One Eye, Mauritius having an absolutely ball in both light winds and strong winds. All without straps of course!

This year in Mauritius there was some serious talent being thrown around, and fresh off the press was a video from Keahi De Aboitiz doing a strapless 360 to 360 shuvit on his Cabrinha Skillit. Of course, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery and all around the world, people have been kicking away their surfboards attempting to imitate the move. Very few have been successful, and as far as we've seen, this is the first time we've seen someone other than Keahi do the move.

Check out the video below, it's full of all kinds of crazy strapless moves that are possible on a surfboard. Jesus walks, 360's, backrolls and of course, the aerial 360 to 360 shuvit that's seemingly impossible to the uninitiated, and ridiculously hard to replicate even for the experienced. There's also some footage of the three man pile-up that we saw pictures of a few weeks ago, and some seriously shenanigans on an inflatable couch that looks like it could get way too intimate for TV. Lucky they've got kites strapped to them... That makes it ok. Right?
