First Time Ever!
Maui to O'ahu... By Kite!

Over the weekend of July 26th-27th nine kiteboarders rode a distance of over 100 miles from Maui to O'ahu.  The effort took place over a two day period on the latest 2009 Naish Kiteboarding gear.

Paul Franco led the team last year as well, but for the 2008 adventure the team added the Ka'iwi channel to the challenge. 

Everything went extremely smooth and the total two day time took 7 hours.  The only significant difficulty was a Navy Aircraft Carrier conducting exercises that forced them to ride much further upwind of O'ahu than planned.
