Kitepower Australia services all types of kite flyer, as well as skateboarding, stand up paddling and kayaks, but the most important part of our business is our kitesurfing school. Would you like to manage one of the most reputable kite schools in Australia? We are currently looking for a kite school manager for the 2013/14 summer, in Sydney, Australia. This position is a seasonal position, which runs from September and runs through until March, with the possibility of further employment during winter in the shop.

As our school manager, you’ll be expected to maintain the equipment and schedule lessons before teaching yourself in the afternoons. On the weekends, you’ll organize the schools equipment and allocate it for the instructors, book lessons and promote the school while on the beach.

Our school runs very professional training for students who are serious about learning to kiteboard. All of our lessons are one-on-one, so not only does the student get the maximum experience from each lesson, you as an instructor build a relationship with each student which leads to a very rewarding job!

Working under you will be a team of IKO Instructors, you will be expected to manage equipment, schedule lessons and promote the school at all times. Professional training will be provided, but we do expect you to have some level of prior experience in a school manager’s roll.

The position is a full time contract, with extra bonuses, overrides on all lessons completed, plus higher rates when you do a lesson yourself.

We require:
21 years old (or older)
Level 2 IKO Instructor
2 years kiting + teaching experience
Perfect English
Previous experience managing others
Some marketing / sales experience
Clean drivers license
