Kiteboarding hits the YouTube big time
“Aruba's clear blue water and constant trade winds make it one of the premier spots in the world for wind sports, so of course when we were down there shooting a few months ago, I had to get some shots with some pros who were in town. I think we got some pretty epic footage.” Commented Graham on the video, after he spent a few weeks in Aruba with Jake Kelsick, Annabel Van Westerop, Toby Holter and Landboarder David Ursell.
The professional riders for Tona, Ozone and Cabrinha put on a great show of what the sport is all about, demonstrating both the extreme side of kiteboarding, and of course the fun stuff that’s possible with a kite. David Ursell also showed what’s going on in the landboarding scene, with some crazy inverted board-offs and spin tricks. Combine that with some great camera angles, classy tricks from Jake and Annabel and the film crew messing about, it makes for great viewing.
One thing you’ll always notice in Devin Graham’s videos is how they’re always filled with great energy from the happy, laughing (and usually good looking) people featured in them. This one’s no different and will do wonders for the sport of Kiteboarding, and for Aruban Tourism.
