Here at Seabreeze we love a good ol' wipeout - especially when they involve big waves or the worlds most famous kiteboarding beach in Hawaii. 

Call us a little morbid - but there's nothing better than seeing some poor kitesurfer getting plastered all over the water, getting up, dusting themselves off and then doing it all over again. Maybe because we can all relate in some form or another; everyone has their own story to tell when it involves that 'big day, 30 plus knots and huge swell'; rarely do these moments get caught on film - but that's what Youtube is for! This week the internet has been treated to two unique video's, full of wipeout goodness. 

The first, from the two hottest kite surfers on the planet right now - Reo Stevens and Keahi De Aboitiz, while on their recent trip throughout Indonesia during the off season. It just goes to show that even the pros stuff it all up sometime with several great wipeouts on some decent size waves. Reo and Keahi have been releasing a stack of great video's this year - Reo's new contract with Cabrinha kiteboarding has allowed him to travel all over the world from his hometown on the north shore of Oahu, Hawaii. Legend has it that Pete Cabrinha gave him a car full of kites and boards, a brand new Canon 7D and a plane ticket to anywhere he likes. Not a bad deal in anyones books - and combined with the all round talent of Keahi De Aboitiz, the pair make an incredibly valuable asset to Cabrinha kiteboarding. The second, comes to us from the most famous picnic table in the kiteboarding world. Hidden away on the North shore of Maui, Kite beach or Kanaha Beach Park is where kiteboarding really began back in the very late 90's. Since then, it's been a constant stream of entertainment for those sitting on that famous picnic table in the peanut gallery - and for those of us who can't be there in person, but have a computer and an internet connection. 

Because Kite beach attracts all kinds of tourists from all over the world; there's always some kind of drama happening - but then again, look closely at this video and you might see a few famous faces!
