KSP World Tour riders announced

On June 6, 2011 the IKA (International Kiteboarding Association) officially released the list of riders that applied for the 2011 KSP tour wild cards. A significant amount of riders have sent in their applications to take part in this year's KSP world championship tour, among them some of the world's best kite surfers.
The application process will now begin it's second phase in which the IKA will involve 6 different parties who will be asked to assemble their ranking of riders. These parties will consist of the Industry representatives, a selection of international magazines, a panel of Judges, as well as the three associations. (IKA, KSP and PKRA) Each of these parties will be asked to send in their decision by June 20, 2011. The IKA will then assemble a ranking of all wildcard applicants.
Riders receiving a KSP wildcard will be notified by July 1, 2011 and will be offered a KSP 2011 tour license. Should a rider choose not to accept the tour license, the next rider on the list will move up. All remaining riders who are not offered tour licenses will become "alternate tour riders" and will be offered entry to single events in the case that regular tour riders become unavailable due to injury, personal problems or otherwise.
Below is the list of all applicants. Any rider who has sent in a wild card application and does not find him/herself on this list is asked to contact info@kspworldtour.com AND info@internationalkiteboarding.org before June 11, 2011.
