Try it, and you'll get a whole heap of stuff come up - but that's not the point! Turns out the founder of Google Larry Page hangs out with Richard Branson from time to time - and what could two of the richest dudes in the world get up to on an island in the middle of the British Virgin Islands? They went kitesurfing. 

Now it looks as though Larry himself isn't exactly new to the sport, in fact the kite he was riding seems to be an old Flexifoil storm from circa 2002! Surely the Virgin Website has just grabbed any old photo from the web and put it on their blog, that kite should be only used only as a shower curtain these days! And you can't say Larry can't afford a new one...

He's also been spotted kiting in the freezing cold waters around Alaska earlier this year on a 2009 Cabrinha Crossbow. You can check out a couple of pics here from his personal Google+ account. He left a comment on the album, which simply said it was a "Fun day kiteboarding in Alaska. Pretty cold and gusty." Obviously he's no extrovert, because it looks freezing!!! 

This week on Necker Island, he spend the weekend kiting with Branson and his wife Lucy Page. Branson's currently in training to cross what he calls "the channel". One can only assume he's referring to the channel between Necker Island and one of the other islands. He plans to make the crossing soon though, just as soon as he's finished organising the 20 astronauts on the Virgin Galactic program.
