Hawaii - A short film by Cabrinha about kitesurfing

Keahi smashing lips with a Cabrinha

Fans of slow-mo footage rejoice! Cabrinha have come to the party with 11 minutes of epic footage shot in Hawaii, about a little sport we like to call kitesurfing.

The Cabrinha crew are yet again stepping up the game in the world of online videos, much like F-One did a few years ago with their series on the Bandits. The Cabrinha dream team is probably one of the most prominent in the world right now, travelling to exotic locations, publishing shots from helicopters and all manner of cameras with a variety of action and lifestyle shoots. With the power of the Cabrinha brand behind them, options are limitless. But we digress, lets get back to Keahi De Aboitiz shedding waves with Moona White.

Pete Cabrinha is also there, and so is Reo Stevens to round out the awesome foursome of the Cabrinha Surf team. The kitesurfing is very skillfully mixed in with a ton of nature and lifestyle shots, all with the intention of showcasing how amazing the sport of kiteboarding can be. There are crashes, funny antics, an ode to a terribly shot movie called Sharknado and of course there’s barrels a-plenty.

Filmed by Anders Krüger with additional filming by Reo and Keahi themselves, not a word is spoken, but words aren’t needed with such amazing shots and smiles that say it all - kitesurfing is a truly incredible sport.

Now we’re not going to hide the fact that this video is designed to showcase the surf range from Cabrinha, their Drifter kite and range of surfboards sits front and center here, so check out the riding, the locations, and check out the products from Cabrinha to say thanks for such a great short film.
