Hadlows back in the kiteboarding game - The 900 Series

The elusive 900...
First performed snowboarding, the 900 was made famous by skateboarder Tony Hawk - who has since enjoyed becoming somewhat of a superstar because of it. The trick has also been completed in other extreme sports like wakeboarding, inline skating and BMX, but is yet to be witnessed behind a kite. What makes the trick so challenging is the variable factors involved with the sport. Not only does a rider have to spin two and a half rotations, they also need to keep the kite steady, as well as line up a wave or ramp to get the height needed for a true 900.
Some are saying that others have completed the 900, (including current world champ Andy Yates) but these tricks have used the kite for assistance in maintaining height. Called a dangle pass, these 900's often look awkward and forced, and are considered by many in the kiteboarding world to be exploiting the current judging rules of the world tour. Hadlow is going at it 'fully legit' and is hell bent on keeping the kite low and doing a completely flat spin - true to the original form of the trick.
Check out the part one of the six part series below, unfortunately Hadlow hasn't made the trick yet - despite some pretty epic conditions. We'll see how he goes over the next few weeks, but its pretty safe to say he's not going to stay quiet if he lands it...
