Keahi's aerials are getting classy...

Did you ever see the recent Kiteworld magazine with Keahi on the cover? He’s deep in a barrel somewhere in Indonesia, if you photoshopped his kite out of the image, surfers wouldn’t even blink, they’d just give a nod of approval and turn the page.

If you didn’t see the magazine cover, here’s the video that goes along with it. This is the third in Keahi’s indo sessions videos, but the first one to feature exclusively kitesurfing. The first two were all about the stand up paddling, this is all about what’s possible with a kite, and it’s world class.

In the video below you will see barrels, barrels and more barrels. There’s some freestyle trickery (that’s developed a little more class about it now) and oh yeah, there’s lots of barrels. Did we mention barrels? You get the picture.

Keahi’s still stoked on it now, even though he was there a few months ago, saying earlier this week: “Every year I make the trip over to one of the outer islands off Bali and this time it all came together. I ended up scoring a week of perfect surf with wind in the afternoons. This is the result! Some of the best kiting i've had in my life. Can't wait for next year already!"
