Colour Your Life - Slowmotion kiteboarding

Totally natural, they assure us.
Coloured balls of dust and super slowmo footage seems to be all the rage these days. Check out the Poweraid ad on TV to see a prime example, or just check out this one from Clash kiteboarding.

Here’s how it works, you get guys to do something cool, say launch themselves off a big kicker with a kite for example. Then you pelt them with balls of fluro coloured dust that explodes on impact and film the whole lot with a super slow motion camera.

Easy recipe, yet fantastic results and one that could put Clash on the map as a kiteboard company. Relatively unknown in the kiteboarding world Clash are the new kids block and with such big name riders like Alvaro Onieva, Forest Bakker & Marit Nore riding for them, it’s no wonder they’re drawing attention.

Aside from the fancy camera work, the talent in this video is unbelievable. When you slowmo tricks quite often the imperfections are highlighted, for instance you’ll see where a rider scrabbles to grab the rail of a board. This is as close as you’ll get to perfect execution, but you’d expect that from the likes of Alvaro and Forest!

Check out the video, and in case you’re upset about the fluro stuff everywhere, the guys reckon it’s 100% natural, so there’s no harm done to the environment!
