CINDY MOSEY ISLAND ODYSSEY 2008- Aitutaki, Cook Islands

  The Cindy Mosey Island Odyssey all girl kiteboarding event has run for two years now. 2006, 22 women found themselves indulging in the islands of Fiji for the first trip and 2007, 28 women kiting the gorgeous Vava?u in the Kingdom of Tonga. With two successful trips, Cindy is now leading the girls on this year?s adventure into the beautiful lagoon of Aitutaki in the Northern Cook Islands. 

  28 girls from around the globe will meet from the 2nd to the 8th October to kiteboard in the warm, crystal clear waters of Aitutaki. Top pro riders Kristin Boese, Ania Grzelinska, Emma York and Laurel Eastman will join Cindy to be on hand to offer their expertise for the coaching clinics throughout the week. The girls will enjoy a full week of kiteboarding, clinics and cultural engagement as well as compete in a 15 mile Downwind race and Freestyle events! 

  The CMIO has over the last two years gained great coverage and has this year attracted the attention of Fuel TV in Australia. The event will be covered for a section in a 4 part documentary programme ?KiteLife? dedicated purely to kiteboarding and will go to air early 2009.
