Catamaran, blue water, palm trees swaying, white sandbars and beach umbrellas. Check, check, check and check. The North kiteboarding guys (and a mystery girl) are on an epic kiting adventure to the Caribbean to show off the new North EVO kites, and we’re mega jealous!

You know what they say, any day on a tropical island with a kite is better than a day in the office! For Kirsty Jones, Tom Hebert and Reno Romeu; this is the office. The Grenadines, a little group of islands in the Caribbean.

True kiteboarding is North’s slogan this year, and one look at this video shows us almost every side of the sport. You’ve got big boosts, tech freestyle and low smooth moves like an all-time darkslide along the beach. It’s crowd-pleasing, wow inducing stuff that freeride kiteboarding is all about. Good on North for promoting it.

There’s even a little rap in there about kitesurfing. Be careful, it gets in your head and you can’t get it out! Whoever thought that up needs to hooked to an original North Rhino and looped a few times.

Want to go on your own island adventure like these guys? Grab an ocean going catamaran, find some mates and a skipper and set sail! The best spots are those you discover yourself, so start peeking into those little bays and reef’s around the islands. There’s so much potential waiting to be discovered!
